Rocks' National Fixtures Confirmed

Renfrew Rocks Confirm 2022-23 Scottish Basketball Championship Home Fixtures

Renfrew, Scotland | Division 1 Men's Basketball heads to Renfrew for the first time as the club gears up for its first season in the top flight following an undefeated Division 2 season last year.

A 20 league game season is in store for Head Coach Johnathan MacLeod's squad as they look for more success this campaign. The top flight of Scottish Basketball will once again feature last years SBC Champions St Mirren, Scottish Cup winners Falkirk Fury and record league winners Boroughmuir Blaze.

The team will open up the season with a bang as they head on a 3 game road trip, opening up the season in Grangemouth on Friday 14th October when they take on Falkirk and then are back in tough action against St Mirren before visiting fellow promoted side, North Lanarkshire Chiefs.

The 2022 Scottish Cup Semi-Finalists will have to wait until Game week 4 before they can play in front of a home crowd when they take on Edinburgh Lions on Sunday 13th November in Renfrew.

Head Coach Johnathan MacLeod commented,

"We are looking forward to the season, taking on the Top 10 teams in the country week in week out is a privilege we must not take for granted but have to be prepared for. We have a fantastic opportunity in the opening month of the season to build a solid foundation for the rest of the year and we are relishing the challenge. The boys are looking forward to week 4 where we can play at home and welcome a crowd, last years title decider with over 150 people was a sign of support and a fantastic atmosphere."
